Two Evil Dead Reviews you Have GOT to Check Out!! Lianne Spiderbaby's Episode of Fright Bytes and Heather Seebach's Viewer Discretion Advised!!

So with the new Evil Dead away to hit theatres, there were two people in particular whos views on the film I was really looking forward to hearing.  Those two ladies would be two of my most favourite chickaroo's in the horror~verse, the lovely Miss Heather Seebach and Lianne Spiderbaby!! 

 Heather (pictured above with her hero Sam Raimi, the god behind The Evil Dead series!!) is the biggest, most hard core Evil Dead fan I've ever come across.  Trust me, this girl knows her Book of the Dead. :)  A few months back, when everyone was getting doing the usual pre-release bitching and slagging off, Heather decided to speak her mind with her Ramblings of an Evil Dead Geek rant, a rant of epic proportions that I totally advise checking out.  Anyhoo, Heather got the chance to see the film early and her thoughts are in, you can read her review here.  Let's just say, it's got me pretty darn excited!! ;)  

With Heather already seriously peaking my interest in the film, a kick ass episode of Lianne's web series Fright Bytes put the cherry on the top of my sweet and very bloody cake!!  Bwahahaha.  :)  This is one of my favourite episodes of Fright Bytes that Lianne (pictured below with grindhouse Goddess Sybil Danning!!) has done, I absolutely love her.

Fright Bytes Episodes 8 and 9 - Geektastic Explorations of the Viscera Film Festival and Comic-Con!

Woot, so a little while ago I mentioned that in an up and coming Fright Bytes we would be seeing an interview with the amazing Elvira.  Well, I can happily say that the episode is up on YouTube and it is great.  Whilst getting an awesome view around Comic-Con (see Team Fangoria above^^^)...which one day I shall visit...we also get an interview with the stars of the new flick Creature and the aforementioned interview with the amaaaazing Elvira.  And is it just me, or when she speaks, is she not really like me...or more like, I'm like her.  I totally thought that...creeptasticular!  Am I right or just dreaming...let me know!?!!! :)  We also get a great Q&A from the super foursome of directors that are known as Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Tim Sullivan AND Adam Rifkin - the director of the most awesome Beagle movie EVER...UNDERDOG!!!! ;)  Anyhoo, my Beagle obsession aside, the subject at hand is their new movie Chillerama, an anthology of four segments of madness...which I cannot WAIT to see!!!

Fright Bytes Episode 7 - Swatting Up on your Vampire Knowledge...Spiderpira Style!!!

Forget all this Twilight wannabe vampire stuff, here's the real deal...and what could be more gorgeous than Spiderpira, heehee, or Miss Lianne Spiderbaby...with freakin' Elvira!?!?!!!  Answer to that question - NOTHING...of course! ;)  Actually, Spiderpira and Elvira is a bit of a tease as to what to expect from the next episode of Fright Bytes where Spiderpira is covering San Diego Comic-Con and meets up with the legendary Elvira, however, I thought this picture perfect to display what's going on in this episode of Fright Bytes!

So yesss, you might have guessed, the latest episode of the amazing Fright Bytes is focusing on vampires!  If you ever wanted a short and sweet, yet highly informative session on the history of vampires then it's all here in this latest episode.  Definitely worth checking out, as are some of the films that Lianne mentions that I've never actually seen.  Here, here to education on a little blood sucking.  And more importantly, it's worth watching just for how much I LOOOOVE the way Lianne says Nosferatu! <3  Heehee!  Also much love to Lianne's brother Steve as well who makes an awesome co-host...clearly awesomeness runs in the family!  Yay!  Check out all the goodness below and be sure to subscribe to the Fright Bytes channel on YouTube as well as check in to LIKE the page for the show on Facebook!  Cheers my dears! ;)

Fright Bytes Episode 6 - Fangoria Darling Lianne Spiderbaby Teams up with Rue Morgue's Tomb Dragomir and the Two Meet the LEGEND that is Sid Haig!

So Fright Bytes Episode 6 sees my wonderful girlfriend Ms Spiderbaby, who of course writes for Fangoria magazine, team up with Rue Morgue magazines Tomb Dragomir to prove to the world that the two get on like peas in a pod (heehee!)!  This episode looks at new movie The Unleashed before taking a look at the legend that is Sid Haig and his career to date...before meeting the most awesome man himself!  Find out what his favourite Jack Hill movie is (see picture below of Haig in Jack Hill's Spider Baby and picture to right of Haig as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects), plus the one director, okay three (he cheats!) directors who he would work for again at the drop of a hat!

Fright Bytes Episode 5 - Zombie Apocalypse with Lianne Spiderbaby Kicking Some ASSSSSS!!!

Woot, woot...so the time has come, Episode 5 of my amazing friend Lianne Spiderbaby's Fright Bytes is finally online. This episode was filmed by the super talented director of the Canadian indie zombie flick, Dead Genesis that is Reece Eveneshen and also stars Lianne's super cute brother Steve. There is nothing like a zombie apocalypse with Lianne kicking ass with a nice big gun! Rarrrrrrr!  I mean just check out that demented yet gorgeous smile that the little madam has on her face, you know she was loving this.  Heehee.  So yes, join me in my geek love for both Lianne AND zombies.  A perfect combination! ;) 

Fright Bytes Episode 4 - Giallo Films

For those of you eagerly awaiting Episode 5 of Fright Bytes, the one with lots of zombie awesomeness and Lianne Spiderbaby brandishing a big ass gun, why not check out Episode 4.  This episode features Lianne and her rather awesome brother discussing Giallo films.  Don't know what these films are, or maybe you're a massive fan...whatever the case this is an excellent episode and one I totally recommend you check out, A.S.A.P.  Yup, yup, yup!

Fright Bytes Episode 5 Teaser - And Tease it Does!

Right so you know how teasers are supposed to get you super geeked out with excitedness as to the potential awesome they display?  Well the teaser for the upcoming episode of Fright Bytes does exactly that!  Not only does this episode feature lots of zombies, it is directed by Reece Eveneshen and features my favourite girl crush Lianne Spiderbaby dressed to kill with a nice BIG gun!!! :P

This episode is going to be super quantities of awesomeness and I am dying to see it! ;)

Fright Bytes Episode 3 - Some James Wan and Insidious Goodness from the Lovely Lianne Spiderbaby!

Okay so it is with geeky pleasure that I can share with you Episode 3 of Fright Bytes, the super awesome new mini-show from one of my most gorgeous and superfab friends, Miss Lianne Spiderbaby!

The 3rd episode in her new series sees both Lianne and guest host, her rather cool brother (wearing a wicked awesome tee as well!) discussing the absolutely downright fucking rad~core INSIDIOUS!  The latest film from one of my all time favourite writer/director duo, James Wan and Leigh Whannell.  I absolutely adored INSIDIOUS, seriously one of my favourite horrors in some time.  And to quote my scaredy cat friend Lauren - "Scariest Film Ever!"  I actually had to move away from her watching it as I kept getting punched in the arm every time she jumped, lol.  James and Leigh have created something within a subgenre that is still very original and extremely quirky!  If you've not seen it yet then I totally agree with Lianne...get your asses out there and see this movie NOW!!!

Lianne Spiderbaby - One of the Most Gorgeous, Intelligent Women Working in Horror Today!

Okay so I LOVE Lianne Spiderbaby.  This girl is not only impossibly gorgeous, she is also amazingly intelligent and a wonderful, shockingly talented writer.  You can read some of her articles at her blog, and also in Fangoria magazine.  Lianne is working on a book right now "Grindhouse Girls", as well as starting a career in acting.  Her first role is a wee one but as the lovely Chauntal Lewis's sister in The Toolbox Murders 2...playing one of the hottest victims ever in my humble opinion. I adore this girl and it is with great pleasure that I am telling y'all to check out her new webseries Fright Bytes.  The first episode has her flexing her acting muscles and doing a little Scream parody...the second sees her at the Shock Stock convention speaking to some kick ass peoples!

The second episode has Lianne speaking to the ladies of the Evil Dead as well as Dwayne Thorne, otherwise known as Ilsa-She Wolf of the SS...a woman whom she is writing about in her book as well.
