Official Red Band Trailer for Debut Feature from CJ Wallis is Red Hot, Psycho-sexual Voyeurism at its Best!

Readers of my blog, and horror fans in general might remember back in November kinda time, and towards the tail end of last year/beginning of this year, that I was talking about a little movie called BB, the debut feature from CJ Wallis.  Back then I exclusively revealed the teaser poster, and then went on to interview lead star Jennifer Mae, as well as Mr Wallis himself....in a 'Part One' in a series of interviews.  More to come!  BWAH!  Back in December I also shared the teaser trailer, which did what it said on the package, and suitably teased something rotten.

Well......fast forward to today and here we have the rather fucking awesome, Official Red Band Trailer.  I think it's pretty safe to say, that BB is looking to be some seriously sexy, voyeuristic fun.  Packed with sweet beats and shot and edited both beautifully, and seamlessly...I am sure you will agree, that it's about time CJ Wallis went from being Canada's best kept secret, to a name that those of us with a love of edgy filmmakers, will be proud to introduce our friends too.  I know that I sure as hell am.  

Having seen some major principle scenes within the film, I can say that this psycho-sexual voyeuristic thriller is something that both film fans, and music fans alike are gonna want to see.  CJ has been quietly making a name for himself, both within film, and music, for quite some time, and the time is now for him to step up to the next level!  As for star Jennifer Mae, with her feisty, flirty yet extremely comfortable level in front of the camera, she exudes that of a young Heather Graham, or Julianne Moore, and is most definitely one to watch.

Interview with BB Director CJ Wallis - Part One

Soooo....filming on new indie horror flick BB is less than a week away.  Written/directed/pretty much everything other than acted by the insanely talented CJ Wallis, and with camgirl/inspiration for the film, Jennifer Mae in her acting debut, this for some would be an incredibly risky project.  With CJ though, he has spent years mastering his craft, perfecting his skills.  All it takes is one look at his digital portfolio to realise that this is one talented fucking dude.  You name it, writer, director, cinematographer, editor, marketing, website design....he's done it all.  And he's fucking good at it all as well!!

So fucking talented in fact, that he managed to surprise and garner praise from one of Hollywood's most well respected directors, the award winning, and three time Oscar nominated writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson, the man that brought us films such as Magnolia, Boogie Nights and There Will be Blood.  And whilst I say writer/director, there is a reason you can see CJ why admires Anderson so much (and is behind Cigarettes and Red Vines - The Definitive Paul Thomas Anderson Resource), he has that same passion towards creating, building and then perfecting his craft.  

And whilst so many filmmakers will never be as adept at what they do as the people they look up too, I truly do believe that CJ deviates from this rule with his exceptional talent.  He has shown time and time again that he can work on a fraction of the budget that some filmmakers do, and prove his worth that it's not about how much money your invest in a film, it's how much talent you are willing to invest.  When talent comes in a package like this as well, you find yourself deliberating, "why the hell does everyone not know who this guy is already!?!"

So yes, without further adu....let's here from the main man himself, Mr CJ Wallis!! :)

The concept of BB came about quite by accident. I totally dig your thinking.  For those out there who perhaps aren't as morbidly minded as ourselves, how did this idea come about?  Your lead actress Jennifer Mae said you kind of creeped yourself out a bit!!  ;) 

I had met Jenn by accident through one of the documentaries I uploaded to YouTube and I sent her a text one day as if i was some passionate fan offering to move her to my country to be my wife and punctuated every broken misspelled sentence by calling her BB, which she hates. I sent it to her and then when I looked at the text message as it was sending, a bunch of things all sort of dawned on me about her world and how disturbing and vulnerable and accessible it all is and 90 pages were written very quickly.

As someone who has been in the industry for rather a long time now, you've built up a network of amazing people who consistently want to work with you.  One of those individuals is Paula Lindberg whom you've known for about 9 years.  How did you first meet Paula, and what can we expect to see from the lovely lady herself in BB?

I met and cast Paula back in 2005 for a 48 hour fast film competition I was co-directing with my friend Jeff Zablotny and just always kept finding excuses to cast her. Even when I asked her to come out for Mary and cover her entire face with plaster-shit and be completely unrecognizable on screen, she is steals every scene she's in and that's such a credit to how gifted she is. I think I'm most proud of putting her into a hip-hop video I directed last year for Curren$y'. She has a classic movie star look that I could find ways to make fresh and find new uses for a thousand times over.

 

With BB, Paula plays a character called Candice Camera/"The Madam", who is conducting an interview/interrogation on Leah for a job with her web-cam company. It is a massive showdown scene with veteran actor and a first time actor to start the film. It is one of the scenes I am most looking forward to shoot. 

One of the biggest challenges when releasing an independent feature, is getting the marketing right. Have you got any plans in particular up your sleeve for this feature?  

Always but because I can't do most of them for a month or so, I can't really say much about them. The internet is too fast and the ideas will be old news before I ever get to them. That happened with a documentary I was shooting for over 4 years. I posted the title and synopsis early on and was posting clips and building anticipation over the course of filming and other person decided to take the title and make a quickie version of what he assumed our movie was about and put it out which was frustrating. My house was robbed and all the hard drives were stolen shortly after so the footage was ultimately lost anyways.

Music wise...as a bit of a hip hop video god, have you got anyone totally rad supporting this feature in the music department?? :)

Yeah there is no end of quality hip-hop music to steal from the people I've been working with the last two year. The issue is going to be that there are only so many spots for placement so I've sort of gathered a massive collection of things and whatever makes sense, goes in. I have been doing all the video, branding & design work for Curren$y's record label and artists in New Orleans, so I'll be trying to feature some of that if it fits. I really liked MaryGold's first album, she's one of the artists here. I used her song at the end of that promo trailer we did and it's so different and adds so much I have no doubt some of that will find it's way into the finished film.

You're taking on the incredibly admirable task of pretty much doing this movie by yourself, filling in all the shoes, so to speak.  I know that this is something you've been doing for years, but just gotta say, I got a lot of respect for you.  I think you're a bit mental...but in the best way possible!!  Although if you end up in a mental asylum, I'm pretty sure I'd manage to get in pretty easily to keep you company.  Not sure about the getting out part though.  Haha.  Anyhoo, with less than a week until shooting starts in L.A., what is the one thing you are most excited about, and also, is there anything you're totally scared shitless about as well?   

I think the thing I'm most excited about is seeing the performance I know that Jenn is going to give. Her comfort level in front of the camera and confidence that comes with what she does as well as being a first time actor is a gumbo that can only yield something unique and never before seen.  The one and only thing I am anxious about I cannot mention because if I say it before we shoot then the chance of it happening will go from 5% to about 95% and I like how my odds are looking at the moment as they are with the people and things we have and have not announced.

Holy fuck.  So I've just seen the teaser trailer for the new CJ Wallis flick BB, and it is fucking awesome!!  

CJ Wallis has been away from horror for way too long!  This is how a teaser trailer SHOULD look however!  Gritty, sexy, edgy and not quite preparing you for the ultimate fuck....a head fuck!!  I'm so glad CJ met Chaturbate camgirl and star/inspiration behind BB, Jennifer Mae.  

This looks like it's gonna be the perfect introduction into the good old world of horror and something tells me that a star is about to enter our world, with full nail biting force! :)  And speaking of nails....

...Soprano nails all the way...bitch! ;)

Introducing the Star of New CJ Wallis Movie BB - Jennifer Mae!

After announcing the return of one of horrors favourite men, Mr CJ Wallis with his new movie BB, and then releasing both the teaser teaser poster, and then the actual teaser poster...I am now super excited to introduce you to both the star and inspiration for the film...and a fellow Jennifer to boot!!  Extra bonus! :)  So without further adu.....Miss Jennifer Mae, aka @purplestar420. 

How was it that you first met director/writer CJ Wallis?  And were you aware of his work prior to first getting on board this project?

I went to Rock the Bells in L.A. and  tweeted a picture to Spitta saying he won smokiest set of the night.  Spitta retweeted my picture, and CJ put my tweet in the "Trust Fall 3" video.  My fans started sending me messages saying "OMG Purp, CJ used your tweet in Spitta's video, that's so bad ass" and shit like that.  My reaction was "Who's CJ Wallis?!" They all told me he was a pretty big deal in the Jet Life world, so I figured 'Hey, why not give him a follow?'

We quickly hit it off and next thing you know, CJ is in my chatroom and sends me a message saying "I see you typing BB".  I got freaked out for a second, and the second after that, CJ had the whole movie pretty much planned out.

How did Mr Wallis go about asking you to be his leading lady?  Did he give you a basic synopsis of the film, or had he completed the script by that point?  And more to the point, was he able to ask you without sounding like a total creeptastic weirdo?  Haha. 

I think he kind of creeped himself out a bit after the message, and saw the entire script and major plot points just moments after.

To be honest, I thought he might just be blowing smoke up my ass, in hopes to get some L.A. booty when he was in town.  I wasn't until he made the poster with me in it, and put his name on it, and then posted it on Twitter that I was like, "Holy fuck, I'm about to be starring in a CJ Wallis film!!"

He never really came off creepy to me.  I thought he was interesting and bugged the fuck out of him with I think with a million and one questions.  I mean, he's this white boy from Canada, hanging out and working with a bunch of rappers...makes me wonder.

(Aww, babe...you and me both.  Haha.  Although I have an even crazier story that I KNOW you'll totally dig.  Just look up Silibil 'n' Brains.  Silibil is on of my best friends from school, and he did some mental shit.  Basically, according to record labels, Scottish white guys don't rap!  Billy and his mate Gav decided to con them into a record deal under the pretense that they were actually American!!  They've just had a documentary released about them called The Great Hip Hop Hoax.  You totally need to check it out.  :) 

  Oh, and CJ is like the most non creepy guy ever, haha.  I just wanted him to be skulking and lurking around this chatroom, weirding out he pretty ladies.  Bwahahahaha.  CJ, you need to work on your Norman Bates approach a little better.  HA!!)

Given that the subject matter is pretty risque; did you have any reservations about making the film?

No, not at all.  I always wanted to act, and did not hesitate to say yes.  There was no way I was going to let such an amazing opportunity pass me up, especially knowing there are so many other girls out there that would kill to work with CJ. 

Did you know any of the other guys working on the film prior to pre-production, and if so, who and how well? 

Nope, not a single one.  I'll be honest, and you might want to strangle me for this, but I don't watch much of anything...film, or TV.   I have definitely Googled the shit out of CJ since we said we were going to do this, and have seen the films he used them in, and they are both great actors.  I'm actually somewhat intimidated (in a good way) by them, being as they have so much experience, and I've only done middle school talent shows.  

So whilst I was writing about what to expect from BB, and making cast announcements, I came across (BOOM BOOM!!) your Chaturbate profile.  Tell me a little bit more about Chaturbate, how you discovered the site, how long have you been a member, and what has been your best experience so far on there?

Sooooo Chaturbate, I started on Chaturbate only back in March of this year but have been a web cam model for about four years now, give or take.  I discovered web camming when I got fired from my job working at a Head shop selling designer bongs.  I didn't get fired cuz I was bad or anything, I was actually one of their best employees, they just couldn't afford my wamping $10 an hour salary anymore.  :)

So I hopped on Creeps List...I mean Craigs List, and started searching for jobs, just like Mary in American Mary ironically enough, and came across an add that said "make $500-2000 a week working at home from your computer".  I was told I could do whatever I wanted and didn't have to get naked if I didn't want too and that I pretty much just had to keep people entertained from my web cam.  So I was sold!  (Maybe I should take up web camming....I can keep people entertained, haha.)  I fucking love web camming.  I get to dress up and get all sexy, I don't have to drive in traffic, and I can honestly say I make people very, very happy.  I work when I want, and I get to travel as much as I want since all I need is my laptop to make money.

My best experiences are, and not to sound corny, but they are when one of my anti-social guys doesn't come to my room for like a week or more, and comes back and tells me they made friends or got a girlfriend because of me, and that's why I haven't seen them in so long.  That stuff brings tears to my eyes.  I really enjoy the whole community of it and try to use my powers  to make things better.  The pornographic stuff I get to do is just to pay the bills.

Whilst investigating the site, I was reading through various model profiles, and what I discovered were some really quirky, fascinating and generally rad chicks.  Is that the general kind of person you'd normally find on there?

You will find everything on there.  Girls  from all over the world!  Each one has their own super power!  It's amazing really.  I mean, don't get me wrong, there are some things you might see that you'll  think are absolutely weird, or disgusting, but there's at least one person that can jerk to it! :)  I've met some pretty bad ass chicks from going to conventions and meeting them.  My best friend, who's going to be in a really hot sexy sex scene , Violet Vega (@MissViolet420) I met from camming, and she's honestly the nicest, sweetest, coolest kitten lovin', pot smoking, Canadian tattooed babe ever!  Pow! 

Being that the basic concept of BB is about not knowing the extent of the true evils that could be lurking on the other side of the screen; have you encountered any particularly disturbing individuals?

I'd be lying if I said no.  I have seen and been told some very disturbing tings on there.  People like and want some weird things.  Some might want to call them sickos, but I try to remember we live in a society where mental illness is at an all time peak and try not to criticize them.

I will say, you will be shown first hand in BB some of the horrendous things I've gone through as well as other girls.  I'm warning you cam girls, if you're already paranoid of who's on the other side of he screen, then you might want to watch BB with your boyfriend you tell the world you don't have, or possibly the cam model you can't stand, but you pretend to on Twitter...because CJ Wallis and I want to creep you the fuck out!!!!

What is the strangest request you've received so far from a viewer?

I used to have a guy that liked me to put a wig on and sign Taylor Swift songs.  As well as a guy a lot of the old school cam models know as the "cheese guy" who wanted me to go to the fridge, get a Kraft single, bite a whole in the middle and hold it up to my eye!  I have no idea what that was all about?!!

Morley - Haha, any thoughts there people?  I'm thinking that classic scene from A Serbian Film, you know...the one with the pee pee and the eye.  And when I say pee pee, I mean dick!! ;)  Heeheehee.  Man I love this scene! 

Dog person or cat person?  Or bunny? 

Dog.  All though I had a bunny named Stoney when I was 18, but these two girls Breana and Candice killed it.

Morley - Grrrrrrr!!!  Bitches be killed!!

Fuck, this is a horrible question.  Wizard of Oz is one of my Top 5 Favs, but I love to be so scared I don't want to go pee during the movie.

...Littlefoot in The Land Before Time was called always called a Brontosaurus, however, as all fellow dino nerds will know, the term Brontosaurus hasn't actually been the scientifically used term since 1903...110 years ago!!  It was only in 1979 however (the year that someone FABULOUS was born...*cough*ME*cough*) that the record was FINALLY set straight for the public.   Still though, even another te years later, in 1989, the US Postal Office released a series of stamps where they had an official Apatosaurus skeleton, the real name for "Brontosaurus", called a Brontosaurus.  Oh how my ten year old self ranted about this!  I mean, let's face it...I knew the difference when I was FIVE years old!!  The minute I started learning about dinosaurs, I knew it all...ALLLLLL I tells you!! ;)  But yesss, you have totally just given me the  most rad idea for a daily blog, moooahahaha.  Little Miss Morleysaurus does the Dino Daily!  Oh yeah! ;)  Ooh, and in Jurassic Park, it's Brachiosaurus, the ridge on the head gives it away.  :) 

Yes, I am an uber nerd.  Haha.  And aaaah, Jurassic Park.  Dr Grant how I love thee so!!  THIS moment here, it's probably my favourite moment in film history.  :)  *dies*  Wants to marry him, and BE him all at the same time!! Man I have gender issues.  Lol. 

Star Constellation?

Awwww, officially known as Pleiades, this forms part of the constellation of Taurus...my star sign. :)  It's actually the Seven Sisters, but to the naked eye one usually only sees six.  I think that's why the Japanese adopted that theme when they created the Subaru brand.

Everything pumpkin!!  I love, love, love, love pumpkin!  And make the best pumpkin pie in the world.  I was actually born the day after Thanksgiving and my burfday falls on it this year.

Exclusive First Look at the Poster for New CJ Wallis Movie BB!

It is with great pleasure that I give you an exclusive first look at the super cool poster for new CJ Wallis movie BB. 

Starring newcomer Jennifer Mae, this cool chick might be a newcomer to film, however she is most definitely not a newcomer to being in front of the camera.  Mae in fact inspired CJ to come up with what is sure to be a pretty fucked up film. Following a girl named Candy Cummings who performs strip shows from her apartment for thousands of people online everyday, BB looks at the fact that we never really know what kind of evils are lurking out there in the internet world.

CJ Wallis is Back in the Horrorverse with New Film BB, Due to Start Filming November 2013!

So it is it great pleasure that I can announce that after a wee bit of a break, Award Winning director/writer/all rounder, CJ Wallis, is returning to the horror genre.  Horror fans will know CJ as Goody Two Shoes in Dead Hooker in a Trunk, and he was also the guy who designed my wicked Jennifer's Bodies poster last year and collaborated on numerous shorts, PSA's, website development and pre-production of American Mary with Jen and Sylvia Soska.  

Over the past couple of years, he's been touring and documenting The Smoker's Club Tour (featuring Curren$y, Method Man, Spitta, The Jets and many more),  as well as a documentary for Curren$y himself, and numerous music videos.  He also frequently collaborates with The Scarlet Ending, Cornerboy P, Fiend and many more which you can view at his website.  

With BB though, I'm happy to say that he is back to the horrorverse with a macabre vengeance!

BB is the provocative story of a girl named Leah who, under the name "Candy Cummings," performs strip shows online from her apartment for thousands of strangers every day, never fully knowing the extent of evils that could be watching on the other side of the screen.  

BB is set to begin filming in late November from filmmaker CJ Wallis (@fortyfps) , assuming all roles on the films production & execution and introduces Jennifer Mae (@purplestar420) in the lead role of Candy. Two previous Wallis' collaborators (Troy DeLottinville & Karen Kruper) have also been attached for small roles.

The film will be set to screen in festivals in early 2014.

1. I am completely 100% obsessed with Beagles!!!

2. The first girl I ever had a crush on was a girl that I worked with on an archaeological dig when I was 16, her name was Rosie and she was 23.  She was amazing and not only did she introduce me to Portishead and the awesomeness of Lavender.  She was a Vegetarian who taught my already opinionated self that being true to yourself was what was important.  I lost contact with her but have never forgotten her, she is truly awesome! <3

3. I have an overactive imagination and used to think I was a lizard.  I was convinced I'd bleed green.  Sneakily watching V as a child probably wasn't the best thing for me, haha.

If I had been a boy my name would have been David, after the Rangers player Davie Cooper.  He was my Dad's favourite player and he wanted a boy so he could name him after him.  But hahaha, unfortunately for Daddy, he got 5 girls, lol!  The more amusing point to this story is that his twin brother Neil got 5 boys!!!

5. My favourite character out of the Batman comics is the Scarecrow.  I love Jonathan Crane.  I love the fact that he's completely insane and that insanity came from being horribly mistreated as a child.  He is incredibly intelligent and he uses that intelligence and downright madness to fuck people up.   Hallucinogenics and opening up a person's mind to the darkness that is inside is in my humble opinion the best way to mess with a person.  It is utterly terrifying and who knows just how bonkers you might just make them turn! :) 

6. I've been into Wicca since my teens and always thought that if there was a "religion" for me then that would be it.  I'm not so active with it nowadays but really want to get back into it.  I'm a very earthy person and am all about the tree people.  One thing I did learn though is that you never do something that your heart is not truly into, even if you think it is at the time.  You know how they say things come back threefold on you in The Craft...trust me, they do!


7. One talent that I have that lay undiscovered for years is how good I am at painting minatures!  I was playing loads of role playing board games at the time and decided that I wanted my own Orc army.  Just because.  So my boyfriend got me one of the Warhammer 40k Orcs with his nice big tank and stuff for my Christmas one year.  He offered to paint it for me and I though, what the hey, why don't I try this myself!  So I did, and it turned out I was actually really good at it.  Much to his frustration I was actually a better painter than him, haha.  It was a lovely surprise to me to know I had this awesome talent that I didn't even know I had.  I'm really proud of my painting and am happy to have randomly discovered that I had such a quirky talent!

The Bloggage of Miss Lianne Spiderbaby - Lianne is my gorgeous, intelligent, wonderfully amazing in every way, Canadian girlfriend!  Not only is this girl too beautiful for words, she is one heck of a writer!  Along with her blog, she also writes for Fangoria and has her own super fab webseries, Fright Bytes.  Her articles are insightful and interesting and you always come away with a wonderful newfound knowledge after reading them.  Following this girl is a MUST! <3

Penny Dreadful Diary - Or should I say, Jen and Sylviaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!  That would be Soska of course!  Jen and Sylvia ROCK, as does their blog!  On top of following news of their movie work, for example the downright wicked Dead Hooker in a Trunk, to news of their new feature American Mary. These girls are taking the horror world by storm with their deliciously macabre sense of humour, intelligence, and talent in every way.  Hell, they even make awesome stunt girls!  Too cool for words, as is their blog!

Margeretbird/FORTYFPS - CJ Wallis is a fucking star!  He proved to us how fab he could be as an actor with his brilliant turn in Dead Hooker in a Trunk, but not only that, this guy makes one bloody amazing director!  The third part of the Soska Triangle, CJ has done some amazing work both with and for the girls, and on top of that, he is now an award winning music video director!  Pretty fab if you ask me! His video for Sarah Slean's The Rose won the Best Music Video of 2010 at the Leo Awards.  All of his amazing videos are on his blog, as well as articles and information on all the fab stuff he's up to!  He might be a boy but he is definitely a feminist's best friend! :)

A Safer Injection - Joel 'Ratty' Wells, the man behind A Safer Injection is one of the coolest, worldliest, downright freakin' amazing guys you could ever have the pleasure of knowing.  This guy has literally seen it all, and survived to tell the tale!  When most people would give up on life, this guys keep striding on, all with a ton of amazing humour and wonderful stories.  He is the kind of spirit that the world would benefit from having more of.  Ratty is a real inspiration and a wonderful friend...and a wicked writer to boot!  Reading his blog always puts a big smile on my face and I think it will do the same to you too!  So yes, all hail the Ratty! :P

Kid Sis in Hollywood - The bloggage of Miss Elisabeth Fies, the wonderful woman behind The Commune and I Hate L.A.  Lis is also responsible for getting the work of so many amazing women out there with her monthly film festival in L.A. - Bleedfest!  If ever there were a woman who could call herself a wonderful feminist, it's Lis!  She is an amazing actress as well, and her writing is somewhat fab!  As you can see for yourself at her blog.  She's not updated in a while so me thinks that we should be encouraging her to share more of her thoughts and awesomeness.  I do [heart] this woman a whole heck of a lot!  I can't wait to finally get to meet her in October as well, along with her ever so fab sister Brenda (pictured above with Lis and Lance freakin' Henriksen!!)!  The Fies sisters are a duo to be reckoned with and all the women in the horror industry would be good to be friends with these girls.  And the boys too.  Everyone in zee whole wide world should support Team Fies, yup yup yup!!! :P

All Good Things - All Good Things is indeed a bloggage of plenty of good things!  The blog of one of my total geeklings in crime, Monty Hawes not only talks about all things nerdtastic, comic bookeee and modern, he pays tribute to ye films of old!  What drew me to his blog in the first place was his classic movie actor polls.  Which FYI, Cary Grant won, WOOT WOOT!!!  Anyone who loves Cary Grant as much as me is always pretty darn cool in my book!  So yes, as a huge fan of the golden age of movies, Monty's blog is always plentiful of the stuff I love and relish!  We share a major love of Idris Elba and the fact that his favourite movie of all time is His Girl Friday just makes me love him all the more!  So yes, check out his blog NOW, there is loads of great reading for everyone. :) 

Back To Frank Black - Why should you follow the Back to Frank Black blog...because we need a Millenium movie NOW dammit!!!  The Back to Frank Black campaign is also followed by the man himself, Mr Lance Henriksen...how freakin' cool is that??  The blog is now basically going to be run on the Back to Frank Black website but this blog has plenty of awesome posts and information on this AWESOME campaign!  Personally, more Frank Black and Peter Watts with the ultimate GOD's at the helm, that would be Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz...it just sounds like a match made in heaven!  It WAS a match made in heaven, which is why we need more Frank Black dammit!  So yes, join the campaign and help us pimp this Frank out!  And Peter...we can't forget Peter Watts...[LOVE]

Quirk Films - One of my favourite feminist horror chickadee's, the morbidly macabre, snuff movie fascinated Maude Michaud!  :)  With her super awesome webseries Bloody Breasts, Maude is educating the world to the way of GIRL POWER!  She realises just how many amazing women are out there kicking arse in horror and Bloody Breasts is her way of documenting all of this awesome!  Maude is also a wicked filmmaker and her shorts Hollywood Skin, The Portrait and Snuff are major proof of this.  I expect big things from this Canadian filmmaker - Hollywood LOOK OUT!!! 

The Clumsy Eater - Jennifer Pasquill, my GORGEOUS foodie Sons of Anarchy, Jax loving partner in crime!  This woman is like a chef from heaven...just looking at her food pictures has my mouth watering and me wishing I could apparate to Florida to be with her and stuff my face with her yummy cooking!  Her blog not only features articles by Miss Pasquill herself, but also guest posts from peeps she deems perfectly wonderful and totally suited to her blog, and she does pick them well I'll have you know!  She is hot, she can damn well cook...AND she has great taste in movies and music....pretty damn perfect if you ask me!  Oh yeah AND she's a total witchy chick with an awesome name, therefore it equals TRUE LOVE!  Yup, yup, yup!

Viewer Discretion Advised - Viewer Discretion Advised's Heather Seebach (above with Kane Hodder), gorgeous, geeky and a GREAT writer to boot!  This isn't technically a blog but in my eyes it kind of is too...plus, this is my list so I can choose whoever I want, haha!  Heather is a MASSIVE horror nerd and trust me, this girl knows her stuff!  This is a site to keep yourself up to date with up and coming horror/geek movies as well as to read Heather's ramblings about the films she loves.  So yes, check out her site NOW...just don't tell the parents! ;)

The Spooky Vegan - What could be more awesome than another horror nerd who's a Vegan as well?  Sarah Jahier is the owner/founder of website Fatally Yours which is this excellent horror review site!  Her blog, The Spooky Vegan blog is super quantities of fab, you get great reviews and interviews and all the kinds of things that make a spooky vegan nerdoid most happy!

Freddy in Space - Last but by far not least, how I could I forget to mention Freddy in Space!?!  This is a great blog run a supernerd who's geekiness could be seen all the way out in space by the Killer Klowns...he's THAT nerdy!  That nerdtastic man that I'm talking about is Mr John Squires and his blog is an essential read for all ye horror devoted geeks out there!  Here you'll find loads of entertaining articles, cool shit to win and general all-round fabness and tomfoolery!
