Okay so hot on the heels of the totally new bad~ass Avengers poster that was released the other day, we now have a new trailer...and it is FUCKING AWESOME!!! I am so beyond psyched for The Avengers, so much so that Bruce Wayne has some serious competition, and I am all about The Batman under most circumstances! This trailer is waaaaay badass though! If you've not already seen it then I thoroughly recommend checking it out! Over, and over, and OVER! :)

Jeremy Renner Gets His Comic Book Geek On with The Avengers!
Okay so to say that I am excited about the forthcoming Avengers movie is a bit of an understatement to say the least. I mean for one, the fact that Joss Whedon is at the helm is a definite plus, the man has shown time and time again what a wicked director he is, he is indeed a nerds friend and that is always comforting! That cast that has gradually been building up since Iron Man is nothing short of fucking amazing! The recent adaptations of Thor and Captain America have been getting the appetites of comic book geeks giddy with anticipation. Reviews of Captain America, which has just come out and which I 'm totally psyched to see tomorrow, are all coming out really quite positive. Many are saying this is Chris Evans best performance to date.
So yes, as a comic book fan AND a girl with an, ummm, slight *cough*obessive*cough* love with Jeremy Renner, my geekgasm has went into hyperdrive! Mr Renner is playing Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the movie, a role that fans were given a tiny sneak peek tease of in Thor!
More geekgasms were supplied at last weeks Comic-Con when fans were given the treat of some freakin' awesome Avengers posters! AND as zee lovely Adam Barnick messaged me the other day after seeing Captain America, the Avengers trailer is attached to the end of the film! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! As I said, I'm off to see it tomorrow and I CAN NOT WAIT! :) Next summer is going to be a comic cook bundle of freakin' geeky awesome cooooooooooooo!!!! <3

Jeremy Renner's Appearance in THOR Revealed - WOOT WOOT!!!! ;)
Okay so I am majorly geeking over the prospect of THOR. I don't know if it's because Kenneth Brannagh is pushing the boundaries by having The Wire's (and LUTHER) Idris Elba as Heimdall, I mean he cast a black man as a Norse God.....shock horror, he should be white! The thing is, the way I see it, Idris Elba is one powerful son of a bitch of an actor and I'm actually happy at this casting.
Anyhoo, it has been announced that Jeremy Renner's character of Hawkeye is gonna appear, but not in full costume. Here is what Worst Preview's has to say:
Renner won't appear in costume, but as a SHIELD agent with a bow and arrow working for Agent Coulsen (Clark Gregg). In the scene, Thor is trying to get to his hammer, which is embedded in rock and is enclosed by a makeshift glass complex, courtesy of SHIELD.
As Thor sneaks into the complex and fights several SHIELD agents, Coulsen orders a special agent into a crane high above the ground. It is revealed that the agent is Renner. At that point he pulls out his bow and arrow and takes aim at Thor while waiting for Coulsen's orders.
