Anyone who knows me will know that I'm hardcore missing a certain biker gang right now. So much so that as of late, I've been finding myself watching documentaries on notorious biker gangs throughout the years. I guess it is truly perfect timing that a new show from the History Channel, Gangland Undercover, is getting my mind all down and dirty with bikers again....this time however, it's based on actual events!!
This shit is so fucked up, that it's hard to NOT respect the big ass pair of balls that Charles Falco had! This man infiltrated not one....but THREE outlaw biker gangs over a five year period!
Falco's serious undercover work led to 62 arrests, in a world where, had he been discovered....well....needless to say, it would NOT have been pretty!! And I'm pretty damn sure that his death would not have been quick either!
Gangland Undercover is based on Charles Falco's book Vagos, Mongols and Outlaws, and featuring a silhouetted introduction from Falco himself each episode, in which we see Damon Runyan's gritty and realistic portrayal of Falco.....and I'm not gonna lie.....he sells it fucking gooooood!!
Actor Damon Runyan has stated in interviews, including this one with my bud Troy Foreman for his site The PC Principle, that he worked closely with Charles Falco himself in preparation for the role, and still speaks to him daily...and I think that kind of relationship really shines through in Runyan's performance. It was kind of like when Johnny Depp lived in Hunter S. Thompson's basement for four months in preparation for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...you're gonna hear a lot a crazy shit...and you're gonna get a belter of a performance because of it!! :)
I love me my dark, gritty shows.....Gangland Undercover is the kinda grit that would stick in your cheeks after you've had your face dragged along the highway dangling off the back of a motorbike. These guys take no shit, and Falco lived a life so dangerous, that's it's no wonder that he didn't completely lose the plot! What I find truly remarkable as well, is that he's not even in witness protection anymore!!
Definitely be sure to check out Troy's pretty rad interview...it's definitely worth a read, as it's a nice look into just what it takes to be an actor going into such a head fuck of a role!

If there's one thing I'm a total sucker for, it's a good old ghost movie. Ever since I was really young, I've always had a thing about ghosts. Poltergeist still remains one of the few films to ever freak the shit outta me. I was 6 when I watched it, and had an INCREDIBLY overactive imagination. Haha. Or IMAGINAAAAAAATION, as Spongebob would say! ;) The Blair Witch Project (next to The Wizard of Oz, haha) is definitely my scariest film of all time. That film fucked with my head so badly, and even to this day, it terrifies the crap out of me watching it!! Yet I can watch all manner of fucked up, insane "scary" films, and not flinch.
Damon Rickard and Alex Mathison's The Tour, pays homage to films such as The Blair Witch Project and Hostel, whilst taking on the good old fashioned ghost story, and making a truly entertaining little film out of it!
Kudos to guys for such an entertaining and well-written script as well. I think that's often the problem with ghost stories...is that they rely too much on cheap scares, and not enough on an actual script! The Tour most definitely does NOT fall into that category. There is an art to writing a good short ghosty film (or any short film for that matter!), and coming in at just under fifteen minutes, The Tour is the perfect example of how to do this. Right from the get go, The Tour pulls you in with its quirky, spook~tastic ghost story, which is made all the more believable by entertaining tour guide Tom...the kinda tour guide that would make you stand there and pay attention. One that, if you were like me...you'd want to go and further investigate.
There is this brilliantly delivered line by Tom Gordon's tour guide character Tom about trips across Europe, and what might happen...referring to Hostel of course. Straight away I'm thinking, "Hells yeaaaaaah!! My kinda tour guide!!" ;) Which totally just reminded me of when my fellow X Phile/Women in Horror chick, Nia Edwards-Behi and I were in the London Dungeon and we were in the Jack the Ripper bit. The actor dude really did choose the wrong person when he chose to try and scare me. He came up behind me and put his hand around my neck and said whatever....how do I reply... "Ooh baby I like it raw!!" Much to Nia and her friend Yvonne's bemusement. Mwahahahaha.
Newcomer Tom Gordon was absolutely brilliant, and definitely one who I'd like to see act in more films. Heather Dorff and Jessica Cameron were totally awesome as well. You can tell they had a lot of fun doing this....and it was good to see them mixing up and doing a bit of role reversal to their usual kinda roles. It was also cool to see my English and American/Canadian friends teaming up to make a film over in the UK as well....usually it's the other way round!

Redacted. A Scottish Film to be filmed in Glasgow, that you are going to WANT to help out. Trust me. So much awesome here!! This is an ambitious short film though, and we need your help to take Andy's oh so demented vision to the next level, and are asking y'all to help us out with our new crowdfunding campaign.
While on an afternoon hike, an unimposing Man stumbles upon a humanoid creature with alluring female qualities. While fearful and in apparent need of assistance, The Creature oozes sexuality and danger but it is unclear where the danger really lies…
With his multi-award winning body horror trilogy complete and released, writer/director Andy Stewart is dipping his toe into sci-fi horror territory.
Special make-up effects will again be designed and created by award-winning FX artist Grant Mason, who, besides his work on Split and Ink, also created the FX for Trainspotting and Shallow Grave.
Grant has also worked on Hardware, Mission: Impossible 2, Sleepy Hollow, Bride of Chucky and Clive Barker's Nightbreed.
Cinematography will again be handled by BAFTA-winner Alan C. McLaughlin while sound design will again be handled by David McKeitch.

With Redacted, he's taking a slightly different turn from body horror, and enlisting the ultimate BODY in horror, muuahahahaha....the looooovely, freaktarded, super freak, ALL WEEK....., my sharky ass shakin' sista, Miss Tristan Risk....aka Little Miss Risk...pictured below as a VERY Risky faerie! MWAH! :)
Horror fans will know Tristan from my Canadian siblings and women in horror partners in crime, Jen and Sylvia Soska's American Mary, where she played Beatress, a Betty Boop inspired stripper who is just insanely quirky and just downright fucking adorable!! Tristan has also been working on Brandon Slagle's House of Manson, playing one of the Manson girls, which is super cool....especially with Ryan Kiser playing Charles Manson. And speaking of Ryan, the star of Jessica Cameron's Truth or Dare, Tristan has also just finished filming Jessica's latest film, Mania...a fucked up lesbian bipolar love story (pictured below). Which is basically my perfect film. Haha. :)
And then...just because we're bringing Risky over from Canada, it means she really needed an equally freaktarded co-star, and with that I welcome on board Laurence R. Harvey, whom you might know from The Human Centipede 2 (pictured below) and 3. OR....if you've had a chance to see Jill Gevargizian's Call Girl - short film, then you'll have seen Laurence and Risky in action. heart emotico
Because Tristan and Lawrence have worked together before, there is already going to be that chemistry, and ease of working with each other. This is going to make Redacted even more special, as there is already that bond....and they are willing to go that little bit further, and with total ease.
You can watch Call Girl below, it's amazing. I shall also be screening Call Girl at Jennifer's Bodies, which I'm super excited about. It'll look ace on the big screen.
So yay....Redacted is going to be a sweet as fuck project, and the perks that you can get for helping us out with this campaign are totally rad. I am so freaking excited to be working on this. Now I fucking ADORE this man. Grace is one of my all time favourite horrors (see my blog on it HERE), and despite the fact he's a boy....this sexy Boston boy just totally GETS women. Which makes me love him even more. Combine that with the fact that he has teamed up with my beloved Adam Barnick, or fackin' Bahnick...or Barnipede yet again...it just makes me all the happier a Nerdzilla.

It is with great pleasure that I bring you the first official teaser trailer for the upcoming film I've been working on, Blood Loss....you may remember this blog I wrote prior to shooting, that gives you lots of fun information and stuff and things. :)
Blood Loss is a short psychological thriller about three guys sent by their criminal boss to finish a job that didn't go well and has taken its toll on each of them. they quickly find themselves caught in the middle of a battle for both revenge and ultimately redemption.
So anyone who follows me on....well....anything, haha, will know that I absolutely 110% adore former rugby player turned strength and conditioning specialist/model/actor, Craig McGinlay. (Picture above taken by Matt at Wee Rebel hair salon in Glasgow. THANK YOU Matt...this is LUSH!!)
Having worked with Craig on a couple of projects now, and just having watched him blossom as both an actor, and a model over the past year...it really is quite fascinating watching him evolve into this total star!
Visually, Craig has it all. He is Hollywood superhero gorgeous, insanely cool (he is an ambassador for super cool brand Finlay and Co.) and has the body to match. I would be lying through my teeth if I said I didn't totally spend half my time in a daze at how hot he is, haha. My partner in oogling/mischief crime, Jess Cant Bowman, who has also worked with both of us on different projects....she totally agrees to the maximus that yes...he is HAWT!!!! That is quite clear. ;) We love him SOOOO much, we smeared his "blood" on our cheeks in hearts. We are sooo not weird....honest!! ;)
Looks will only get you so far though, and there are plenty of hot guys out there....but from a Morley point of view, if you don't have a personality to match, then I would get bored very quickly. I am most definitely NOT bored of Craig. Haha. I don't just smear any guy's blood on my cheeks yo!! :)
What makes Craig, or Super Pecs as I've lovingly renamed him, so destined to succeed; is that he has a wonderful sense of ambition and drive...he wants to try out lots of different stuff to help him evolve as an actor. And most importantly from my standpoint, he is just a genuinely nice fucking guy who knows how to have a laugh. And he's a TOTAL dork!! :)
Since working with Craig throughout June on the feature film The Fairy Flag, I have seen him become the face of Irn Bru...which, as a Scottish person, is one of the highest honours, haha. July also saw him work with and train people for the Commonwealth Games through his EP Sports Consultancy, based in Glasgow. He then went on to join Guy Ritchie (yes....MADONNA's ex-husband.....*insert insanely large squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*....I have touched someone, who has touched someone that used to fornicate with Madonna!!!!!!!! LOL!!) and David Beckham in the Haig Club whisky commercial. For someone who is first and foremost sports orientated, working with Beckham was sweet for Craig. And as a superhero nerd....I know for a fact that he would have been nerdy as hell at working with the guy that has also worked with freakin' IRON MAN!!!! Haha. That shit is just oh so cool! :)
Following this extended advert, James Bond writer William Boyd obviously saw how sexy Super Pecs made Land Rover look, and cast him all the way from La La Land to star in the Land Rover commissioned online docu-drama in an original story created for the brand, The Vanishing Game. A unique and innovative move for brand advertising for sure. This was a HUGE coop for Craig, and big kudos goes to Victoria FL Steven (vscasting.com), his casting agent, formerly of Clann Wallace Casting, (pictured below with Craig) for going the extra mile to make sure that Craig succeeds. (Edited to add that now I'm her publicist too! Girl power yo!) :)
Having Craig come through to shoot Blood Loss in Arbroath was a total blast. It was also a testament to Craig as a person, that there isn't a single air of pretension about him, and he has been doing all these various projects, and yet got on board the debut project from my boys at IronStar Films just purely due to totally digging the role. As a long-time friend of writer/director Graeme Carr, I have to admit, it was a total kick to see the two of them working together. Absolutely brilliant. I love Graeme to bits. Always have done. So to see my fellow film nerd just doing his thing...it was pretty damn cool!
Standing back and watching Craig as an actor, and how he has progressed in such a short time...he is REALLY fucking good!! It was sweet because Craig had worked with co-star Alan Cuthbert before, so they already had this rapport. I was very impressed with Arbroath boy Chris O'Mara (pictured in the middle below), and Dundonian Tom Ingram (pictured left below, and on the right in black and white picture)...these were the newbies to the group, and they all just clicked....and it just worked.
Watching them absolutely NAIL their first scene in one take...it was really quite awe inspiring. One thing I noticed as well...and all my Yankee Doodle friends will love this....when he's acting, his Scottish accent comes out even more. I'm not sure why, but he was just brilliant! :)

As if all of this wasn't enough, Craig has landed a whole shit load of new modelling assignments, including the new Barbour campaign, Selfridges, Finlay and Co., amongst many more, as well as having just been signed to Major Models Milan...Craig is most definitely one to look out for in both the world of fashion, and the world of film. He has fight trained with George Johnston who has trained the likes of Christian Bale for Batman, Daniel Craig for James Bond, and Matt Damon for the Bourne films, as well as Seoras Wallace, who trained Mel Gibson for Braveheart, and Russell Crowe for Gladiator, so not only can he act, and look good....he’s a damn good fighter as well!
